The Startup
Disruptive invisible sensor technology rendering all surfaces and materials highly-interactive.
PAIN POINT
It is complex to make an object interactive/smart because of the difference possible materials and shapes. Another problem found by many manufactures today is the lack of waterproofing/dustproofing in buttons/sensors. Hardware also takes up a lot of space.
HOW IT SOLVES IT
Nanomade sensors are thin, flexible and highly sensitive. They can be used for touch and force features or for weight/deformation in product containers. The sensors – which are easy to install and remove – also enable waterproof and dustproof solutions.
USE CASE
By definition, the luxury sector uses noble materials: leather, composites, aluminium, etc. for the manufacturing of its exceptional products. Imagine all these materials then becoming sensitive and sources of data thanks to the Nanomade sensor:
- The customer unlocks his suitcase, his watchcase as one unlocks his smartphone: simply by making a drawing with his finger on the material itself: a unique experience.
- The product is monitored from every angle: recording of the intensity of shocks, deformation of each surface.
