Biophilica produces Treekind, a patent-pending vegan leather which reproduces the looks and feels of leather. It is free of plastic and toxins, and completely plantderived: made with cellulose (the world’s most abundant polymer). Treekind is home compostable, recyclable, and uses 0.1% of the water necessary to produce cowhide leather.
