Marking products or packages with a traceability code or customizing products with a unique artwork or personalized info, is commonly done by inkjet: a technology causing a lot of pollution, unnecessary downtime in production facilities and a very vulnerable result.
HOW IT SOLVES IT
inPhocal’s innovative and patented laser marking technology fully replaces the inkjet with a sustainable laser-based alternative, capable of marking flat and curved surfaces at high-speed, without ink, leading to a higher utility of production facilities and contributing to a more sustainable world.
USE CASE
inPhocal’s first use case involved replacing ink marking in the food & beverage market. Due to the flexibility and speed of the inPhocal’s solution, a QR code can be added enabling marketing and circular economy purposes next to a durable traceability code.
For other use cases, their solution also can provide faster (individual) product customization, e.g: adding a logo or artwork, covering a wide range of materials (such as metal, leather, cardboard, plastic and glass) and ranging from curved to flat products.
